Masks now optional, but…

Masks are now optional on my walks unless the location I’m doing them at requires it, however, I do ask that we all respect the comfort levels of all attendees.
I don’t wear masks on my walks any more unless it’s required or people attending feel uncomfortable with me not wearing a mask. I know we all have our own comfort levels and I don’t want to add to any divisiveness that already exists in this strange time. Speaking of…
I also wasn’t really going to tell people this (because of all the controlling attitudes around this subject and the fact that it’s already affected a few friendships) but I am fully vaccinated for several practical reasons (although I never really had much fear of COVID on a personal level). I’m only mentioning this out of full disclosure since this may affect people’s comfort level.
Also, preregistration is usually no longer required unless the walks are sponsored or through a botanic garden, but I do ask that you let me know beforehand if you can and especially if you’re arriving with a group. Thank you, William
