O’Melveny Park Herb Walks at my original and one of my fave locations. Meet at the main parking lot on Sesnon Drive near Orozco above Granada Hills. 2 and 1/2 easy hours. $15-20 suggested. Over 18 wild medicinal and edible plants will be talked about-some in a lot of detail. Wooly Leaf Yerba Santa, California Mugwort, Black Sage, White Sage, California Sagebrush, Mexican Elderberry, Cleavers, Dandelion, Mallow, Stinging Nettles, Miners Lettuce, Horehound, Datura (toxic but fascinating), California Blackberry, and more interesting plants will be discussed by me.
